First of all, the reflection is very accurate when light hits it. In the dark they almost look like jewels. I like the safety factor. Also, the nylon buckle has a locking mechanism, which I really like, so it doesn't open accidentally. In terms of durability, they do their job as expected and I haven't had any issues. I've taken the collars off a couple of times and there weren't any issues with the strength of the buckle. Buy with confidence - I have purchased three collars and two leashes from these guys. My only downside was the durability as my labrador pup who plays A LOT with my older labrador used to pat the old labrador's a bit but I guess someone expected that. It's more cotton than tough nylon.
