I did that for 38 years and am as content as a happy elephant. If I had a spare percent, I'd rather put it toward something else. Because of this, I believe that investing in this option is the best use of your money, and I encourage you to do so! Has pros: 1) The operation is extremely low-key in terms of noise 2) Has an extremely chilly temperature AMD Phenom X4 2800 MHz in overclocking 3300 and under load regular from 68 g (and generates noise similar to that of a Boeing 747 taking off) the same 50 g and you simply do not hear it. 3) I turned off the cooler merely in general and when it was under a load of 55 gr, but not any more, which implies that you can use it without a cooler! 4) The assembly was simple, but taking everything apart took between one and one and a half hours. Its cons: 1) It seems to me that there was room for improvement in the cooling capabilities of the area where the radiator was in contact with the processor by the addition of some form of aluminum protrusions. 2) I have the impression that in the not too distant future, it will be difficult to keep the dust off of it. There is not a single serious deficiency!
