Terrible speaker. Now we went through two different speakers and both had the same problem. The noise disappears within the first 30 days. They've never been dropped, they've never gotten wet and if they have it shouldn't be a problem as they need to be both shockproof and waterproof. My husband had a mini lifejacket which he used on the field and loved it so we bought a larger size thinking it would be of equal if not better quality. Not at all. We will request a refund from Altec Lansing.
