Great backpack, not so good lunch bag

. In recent years she has asked for a backpack on wheels and we decided to give her one this year. The backpack itself looks solid and has very pleasant colors, it certainly doesn't look cheap. The lunch bag was definitely a great pair, but unfortunately the velcro on the bag broke after less than two months of use. I'm glad I invested in insurance for this and was able to find a replacement for it. It was the same design but the accent color (pink) was blue which wasn't much different but it would be nice to find a suitable replacement.

Pros

Converts quickly - a kid's backpack straps unbuckle in seconds as he walks up the stairs. When folded, the straps can be easily removed into the slot on the wheeled backpack - no need to open the zipper.
