Bursting at the seam

Only 3.5 months have passed and this seam has come undone. The rest of the bag is in perfect condition. It's for my daughter from preschool so doesn't look like it's cluttered. He literally carries her lunch box and her school bag. I am very disappointed with it and will not buy it again.
