Much better than the original sticker
I replaced the adhesive on two dashboards that were starting to peel off in the hot sun. Now, with the new sticky pads, they haven't shown any signs of coming loose in a while. It's a good idea to leave nothing attached to the newly installed base for a day or two to allow the glue to "cure" before adding the weight.
