From looking at the listing photo, it would appear there are several shades of red in this jewel colors set. Wrong. There is only ONE red thread in the lot. The ones that look like red are mostly various shades of brown, copper, and magenta. There are 3 spools that I would consider brown (a jewel color?) and 16 of the 40 spools were either green or blue. The spools themselves seemed rather thin, cheap and flimsy, and one was missing its top with the color number on it. (See photo.) If the quality of the thread matches the quality of the spools, I'd be afraid to use it in my machine. Why ruin a $1000 machine with a spool of cheap thread? I had heard ThreadArt was a quality thread, but I'm going to stick with name brands like Isacord and Sulky from now on. These are going back.
