These are extremely comfortable shoes. I'm a tall guy and my shoe size is no exception: 15D. Before trying this particular laceless shoe, I could never tolerate laceless shoes: my heel almost always slipped out the back of the shoe and caused a blister. Or the boot protruded to a point over the heel to support it, but the hard leather tip hurt. Both problems do not exist with this shoe: Laceless shoes from Battery Park Service stay on my feet. They sit comfortably on the ankles without pinching over the heel and there is a soft ring around the ankle area and over the heel that keeps my foot in place while walking. The shoes are well constructed and the non-slip outsole is designed for jobs that require you to be on your feet for 8-12 hours. The outsole used here is almost identical to the one used in my New Balance lace-up work shoes. Extremely comfortable even after standing for 8-12 hours or more, especially compared to any other shoe I've had. I had spinal surgery last month and I still can't bend down enough to tie my shoes. So I was forced to try slip-ons again after giving up on them about 30 years ago. I was lucky to find this particular model. Surprisingly, they are so comfortable that I'm seriously considering buying a second pair and wearing them to work in the hospital once my back has healed from surgery. (I'm considering wearing them more often than my usual lace-up work shoes!) The shoes are a bit too big. I usually wear 15D, but in this case the standard size 15 is enough.
