Review on Engineer PH 55 Tetsuwan Scissors GT by Mysocalled Gaultier

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Pretty disappointing

I bought these a few days ago to chop up old credit cards into small pieces. Her performance was rather disappointing. Before I got them I used my kitchen scissors for this purpose and they worked much better. One of my complaints is that the scissors are too small to comfortably hold in my hands (I wear gloves ranging from large to very large). Another problem is the design. The first inch of both blades (from the tip) is straight. The remaining inch and a half of one blade is lightly serrated, while the equivalent length of the other blade has a straight edge. Therefore, only the back of the half-tooth scissors is suitable for cutting credit cards, card by card. The front ruler can work, but with a lot of effort. Also, despite the strange design and contrary to what is advertised, these scissors are not multifunctional. They're just weird looking scissors that are good for cutting cardboard, postcards, trash, etc., all of which can be done with a better and more convenient tool for half the price.

Pros
  • Decent performance
