This item was written to work with the 2002 GMC Envoy but does not. It was not possible to work with the seller. They asked a lot of questions and their only answer was that I should have ordered a different model number. It was the only model available. Since customer service is operational these days, they wanted me to do all the work by contacting the dealer with my VIN to pin down the original part number. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I expect this kind of problem to be solved already or at least not announced that the remote will work with my car. At least a warning that this might not work with all 2002 GMC Envoys. Huge waste of time.
