Review on KILZ Decorative Furniture Paint, White - 1 Quart (32 Fl Oz) by Terrance Singletary

This color saved me a lot of money to find a new chair! These comfy little chairs had to be saved for the basement renovation, but the eye-catching print had to go. She applied a thin coat of chalk paint (it didn't mix very well, but seemed to work) and transformed it immediately. The color was exactly what I expected. First I splashed the chair with water; The paint is very easy to apply in one layer (as you can see in the photo I intentionally leave a small visible main imprint). I plan to use a darker paste buffing wax in the finish, but it's not very hard with one coat. I have no idea what the longevity will be like, but if we can keep it up for a year I'll be thrilled. Each chair took less than an hour to make and dried well within 24 hours. Does not heat up with a hair dryer or in the sun. If anything goes wrong in the next six months I'll revisit this review, but it's been a very enjoyable project.
