KILZ Decorative Furniture Paint, White - 1 Quart (32 Fl Oz) Review

My husband bought me an old Hoosier that was in dire need of a makeover. She got one. This color is very light! Slightly sanded and set in motion, which suits my impatient nature perfectly. I wanted it done so I could see her breathe again. Absolutely delighted!

This product is affordable and easy to use. Most chalk paints are twice as expensive. I didn't sand one part and lightly sanded the other two. DO NOT sand if you have old furniture. The parts I sanded continued to show a brownish color. The finish is matte but you can apply a glaze which is very easy to apply and has the same patina as your glaze.

We used this color for our TV. No prep other than wiping off all the dust and removing all the glass shelves. The color is so smooth and it's enough. The color is very pigmented and saturated. I alternated between a small roller and a brush depending on which part of the aggregate I was painting, but the application was just as smooth. After drying, the texture became very smooth and matte. Exactly what I was looking for; very happy with the results.

Covers really well. I have painted 2 dressers and all the drawer fronts and there is still quite a bit left. I definitely didn't need a second liter. I was very happy with the consistency when using a brush or roller and the final dry paint. Compared to traditional paints, there was almost no smell.
