Add the rest of Anne Sloan's White Wax on top. Perfect color and I saved a ton of money by choosing this brand instead. Seems like a lot of reviewers need to do a little research on chalk paint and wax. This is art. This is a process. It took 2 1/2 coats of paint to cover the dark wood with light paint. Since I am pregnant, my mother was kind enough to do this work for me. It took her about a day and 1/2 to do all the work. Always apply with light strokes or with a foam roller with each application. The paint dries quickly between coats. Then you apply wax, let it dry and then polish. Wax seals and protects paintwork and wood. I recommend visiting a chalk painting site or at least a Pinterest page for specialty tools and techniques.
