It worked exactly the way I wanted it to. I didn't take a before photo, just an after photo. It sticks VERY well. I stuffed padding under my 1 inch hole and then filled it with glue on the little popsicle stick you get. Everything stayed below the skin's surface. As soon as I closed the hole, some glue popped up through the crack and brushed off easily. It dried up within 20 minutes, but as a precaution no one sat there for a day. As you can see the patch area is tough due to the adhesive which would be a shame if the gold was in a more noticeable spot. So beware. Otherwise it would just be awesome and I would buy it again and again!
