My seven and a half year old loves these sandals. He says they are comfortable and we haven't had any issues with blisters etc. He can walk and play without tripping or losing his sandbox. They are suitable for relaxing at the lake/beach as well as for everyday use. He wears large children's tennis shoes in size 4.5. I ordered a 4.5 (so glad they offer half sizes!) and they fit true to size. I will say they seem a bit wider than other sandals. He wore them every day throughout the summer and they held up great!
