Review on 🔌 LiteFuze LC-300US: Efficient 300W Step Up/Down Travel Voltage Converter with US Cord - 5-Year Warranty Included by Andre Noel

I bought one of these voltage converters to power a 1980's portable stereo system (Skitronic Discolite) which I just bought from a dealer in Turkey. It was never originally sold in the US, so it only runs on 220VAC, 50Hz. The power cord also has a Type-C plug on the end. This Litefuze 300W voltage converter is perfect for powering my new (for me) portable stereo system. It has a built in plug adapter socket that easily accepts all kinds of different plugs including Type C on my portable stereo. I've been using this new voltage converter continuously for about an hour a day for a week now with no problems. . I love that it has a lighted on/off button on the side to turn it off without unplugging it. It's a nice feature that saves me having to unplug it every time just to turn it off. Keep in mind that my portable stereo is only factory rated for 35 watts of input power, so I'm not setting that voltage. Inverter somewhere near its 300W rating, so I don't know how well it will perform when pushed to its limit. My converter hardly sweats, so it doesn't get hot at all. Reading negative reviews about this device, I suspect a lot of people are trying to get more power out of it than it can give. All I know for sure is that I didn't have any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Overall I am very happy with this device and it works great for my use. Now I can easily power my audio equipment from overseas. Update 12-5-20: It's been almost a year since I bought this LiteFuze LC-300US voltage converter and it's still working perfectly to power my Discolite boombox. I liked it so much that I bought another one, exactly the same, only with a higher output power of 500 watts. (This second unit is model number LiteFuze LC-500US.) The second unit also works great and I have no complaints about it. I've attached some footage taken this morning of my LiteFuze LC-300US powering my Discolite Boombox. I've also included a picture showing the Type-C plug (sometimes referred to as the "Euro plug") on my boombox, which plugs directly into the LC-300US's jack without the need for a plug adapter. I still stand by my original review and this voltage converter is great!
