Used under two metal cabinets. The hardest part was drilling holes in the metal. The installation itself couldn't be simpler, using a 3/4" socket at the top and the included wrench at the bottom. The brakes are hidden in my rig but seem to work fine on a workbench. Designed for indoor/outdoor use, so I soaked them in WD40 prior to installation to prevent corrosion. Seems solid and well made - my max load is about 50lbs per person and they do a great job. The cabinets now move very smoothly - I would buy them again.
