I knew having ordered they would be 'cheaper' compared to other wood options. I saw the whole package weighed 2lbs compared to the 8lbs listed in other ads but for 1/3 or less of the price. I ordered 4 packs for less than $14 a box. I can't remember how much I paid for the flimsy black velvet hangers I've had for years, but I don't know if it was less or more? Just looking at two boxes there are imperfections, these don't look like solid wood, I would be shocked if they were. They're light and thin, but seem stronger and more durable than the velvets I'm substituting, which have become very popular over the past decade. The velvet towels I replace break easily, gather lint, and don't look particularly pretty. Technically, they can tear, don't collect lint like velvet, can withstand heavier coats, and look a lot prettier. There are many flaws and you can see where they are cheaply made, stains/scratches where they rub against each other in the box. They are stacked, there is nothing in between. BUT for the price they are great. Let's see how other boxes are.
