Review on 11000 Lumen ThruNite TN36 Limited Version LED Flashlight - CREE XHP 70B Cool White (CW) by Brian West

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great flashlight for the price.

I have a flashlight problem, and this was the newest addition to my collection. I usually go for lights with lots of throw, but needed a flashlight with lots of flood. It produces a very wide beam, since it has a small reflector. Some people will not like the how extremely flood the light is, it has grown on me but I am careful using it during camping because on higher modes the beam is bright enough and wide enough to disturb other campers. The light profile is great for trail walking at night. If you think your turbo mode is somehow defective in the driver, it most likely is not. The protected 18650 panasonic batteries that I have will not supply enough amperage without tripping unless fully charged. This resulted in the turbo mode working for a few seconds and then the light turning off. The flashlight was tripping the protection on the cells. So use quality high drain cells in this flashlight.
