In the winter I use a panel heater in my bedroom. The thermostat on it works fine but I don't see a need to turn it on during the day when I'm not using the room. So I was looking for a good outdoor thermostat that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I chose this one and it works great. I set it so that the room is about five degrees cooler during the day and warm at night. Once I got the settings exactly how I like them, it worked flawlessly. And since it has an external temperature sensor, I can be sure that the heat from the heater itself won't affect the thermostat, which can be a big problem with some heaters.
