The cups appear sturdy and a good size, but the lids are snug and tight. That means you have to work very hard to put the lid on. At the same time I had to hold the cup and turn it in my hands. If there was liquid in it, it would fall out. Not sure if this was intentional or if I'm doing something wrong, but I sent them back as they didn't work for what I wanted them for.
