I was skeptical about this little thing but gave it a try because my EVGA 2080ti XC ran at 83-85C while I was playing. I installed it under the GPU, plugged a fan into the motherboard fan connector, set the fans to 100% in the bios and ran a few games. Wow. The GPU temperature dropped by 10 degrees while idling and under load. I start 73C only 10 minutes after starting 83C after installation. I can't hear it at all from any of my other case fans, even when the fans are running at full speed, so noise isn't a factor. If your GPU is getting a little warm and you have 3-4 PCIe slots under it, there's no problem trying it because of the price and easy installation.
