More air for the GPU!

Awesome buy at $20. You can place this just below your GPU or just above it. I have a 3090 and the backplate gets pretty hot due to the extra memory on the back of the board. I have this slot right above my card pushing air from the top. When using EVGA ICX sensors I see 5-10 degree drops depending on my workload. These fans are PWM controlled. These aren't the quietest fans, but you don't need them to run at full capacity. At 40-50% PWM these fans are not audible on my system. The frame that…

Not bad overall

One of my 7970's fans died and I needed a cheap/quick fix while I could get proprietary replacement fans from China. Putting this card in a slot next to the GPU was enough to keep it cool enough to keep it stable. Having voltage options is handy, but most of the time it's quiet enough at full speed (12V), so I went for that. The only problem I have is that one of the fans clicks a little bit. I need to find out if something is misaligned.

  • Expensive but decent

Great supporter! in Graphics card fan

The temperature of my m.2 and the GPU has noticeably decreased! EDIT: Changed my rating. I bought this fan in early June. Now, in the first week of December, it is already making a brutal noise that cannot be ignored or stopped. To top it off, replacing the fan requires replacing both as they are linked. It just became a waste of $16. Do not buy. The fans are cheap, the bearings inside make a hell of a noise in less than half a year.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • I am silent

Persists after GPU fan failure.

Used in my Optiplex 9020mt 1050ti GPU that I was able to get, fans don't work. Not spinning etc. So obviously there are heat issues. The only replacement for fan parts cost $27 from Alibaba after delivery and a two-month wait. So I was able to get it on sale for $14 and it works well for a GPU blast too. In the photo I planted it just below and although I had/used a Sata 4 pin fan cable I didn't need the extra cables that were included. It works well and for the price if they do NOT have to run

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Does its job: fans and cooling

I bought this to lower the temperature of my graphics card. As promised, the temperature immediately dropped 10 degrees and stayed that way. It's quiet and well built. I should add that when these fans fail, they should be replaced with spacers. I can't ask for more.

Pros
  • There's something in there

  • There are nuances

Nice fan, silent but only one thing missing to make it great.

fans are good. They're quiet for the speed and this has brought my RAID controller's temperature down to a safe level without adding too much noise. The brackets are clean and strong enough to hold the entire assembly without worrying about it bending or breaking under its own weight. The only thing missing is the fan header is unlabeled with separate pins for voltage/fan speed selection. I ended up looking at the image on this list to find out, but it would be great if they were tagged from…

It really worked very well!

I was skeptical about this little thing but gave it a try because my EVGA 2080ti XC ran at 83-85C while I was playing. I installed it under the GPU, plugged a fan into the motherboard fan connector, set the fans to 100% in the bios and ran a few games. Wow. The GPU temperature dropped by 10 degrees while idling and under load. I start 73C only 10 minutes after starting 83C after installation. I can't hear it at all from any of my other case fans, even when the fans are running at full speed, so

Loud bug, helps a little with temps

Noise: The first thing that struck me after installation was the whiny, plastic-on-plastic humming noise that only a cheap fan can make. (I'm used to Noctuas, so there's a high bar for my preference.) Temperatures: In a 25C room, I tested GPU temperatures using FurMark's GPU stress test; the idle temperature dropped from 39°C to 34°C and after 10 minutes of endurance testing, these additional fans lowered the operating temperature from 72°C to 70°C. I connected the fans to the motherboard case…

Too bulky and uncomfortable. Not suitable for most mATX motherboards.

I bought a similar product for my PC and I really liked it. It was an ultra-thin PCI card with three fans and no screen. I'm doing another build for a friend and was going to wear it but it sold out and I had to risk it. This one is much larger and unlike the other product doesn't have a protruding lip that actually pushes it into the slot and supports the other end. This product will not even work with most mATX motherboards due to its thickness and lack of clearance underneath. Of course the…
