They are strong enough to withstand air travel. I bought these to hold solid men's hair paste and tested the seals with Woolite detergent in a zip pouch. Hardly anyone got out. drops maybe. I am impressed! It's probably not a good idea for greasy or slippery foods, but I think something like a face mask would still work.

Pros
