What can I say, nVidia just gets it right (these days). I had to replace the Radeon card, the card was good but the software/drivers were stuttery and so finicky playing various videos that I couldn't stand it. I went with this 1660 Super which costs about $200 with shipping and works great right out of the box. It's a smaller card that fits in my tiny case in my living room for the HTPC/gaming box, that's where compact cards win. great time there. This card is fast, cold and quiet. Drivers from nVidia are great these days, you can just install or experience the Geforce driver, but the HDMI scaling works great even with HDCP enabled. That's why nVidia wins for me. I needed a good gaming card that wouldn't get in the way of good media playback (cough, Radeon Software, cough). All in all, a great, compact and fast 1080p gaming GPU for $200!
