Review on Auger juicer Kitfort KT-1102-2, burgundy by Aneta Felner ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

I was specifically looking for this particular model, because. she has a wide "throat" - you can put whole small apples and oranges there. Small subtleties: 1) Apples. If you want apple juice (rather than puree) - choose hard juicy apples (those that crunch and splash with juice when bitten). Well, if you squeeze apples, the pulp of which is "like boiled potatoes", you will get mashed potatoes. Yes, and half the volume will go into the cake. 2) Oranges and other citrus fruits. You can squeeze the uncleaned. But the truth then juice will be bitter. Although doctors say that it is useful. 3) Grapes. The most insidious fruit (contrary to expectations). Never place bunches of grapes with twigs in the juicer. Peel each berry, because the ground branches immediately clog the pulp outlet. And bones, by the way, do the same. Therefore, try to use seedless grape varieties. If, nevertheless, the berries are with stones, then periodically stop the machine, disassemble it and clean the hole for the cake to exit with a hard stick. You will be surprised what a dry and strong cork is formed there from the transferred bones. 4) Grenades. Only fully refined grains. See my comments on grapes above. 5) Carrots. Try to cut into small pieces before use, because although the juicer is able to break the whole root crop on its own, its plastic parts begin to deform so much that they look like they will fall apart. 6) Bananas. Definitely not for this type of juicer. I tried it for the sake of interest - as a result I got 50/50 in glasses for juice and cake of approximately the same puree consistency. 7) Beets. See above comments regarding carrots.

Pros
  • Convenience of use, quality of an extraction, convenience of a sink of details, takes not enough place on a table.
Cons
  • The reliability of parts made of transparent plastic is questionable. So far, everything is in order with them (pah-pah-pah), but I'm afraid that somehow something will crack.
