Review on Auger juicer Kitfort KT-1102-2, burgundy by Bogusawa Tokarska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

It all started with the next harvest of apples and pears. In the season it is necessary to process the fruits into juice and further according to their intended purpose. For this, an old centrifugal juicer was usually used. Its main disadvantages are VERY high noise level and low performance, because. the juicer mesh is constantly clogged and you have to disassemble and clean it. If the fruits are hard, this is still acceptable, but if ripe apples come across, the process turns into AD. On the basis of this HELL, it was decided to purchase an auger juicer. Another Kitfort technique proved to be good in our house, therefore, the Kitfort lineup was considered first of all. There were doubts that this miniature and not at all powerful "puff" would be able to replace the old Belarusian centrifugal type juicer, which still coped with several bags of apples per season. The choice was made more by price and availability in a nearby store. And here's what I'll say: auger juicers are just SUPER! 1. The noise level is an order of magnitude lower, although it is still not comfortable to listen to the radio and talk while the device is in operation. But at least you will not go deaf, as is the case with the use of centrifugal. 2. SQUEES EVERYTHING! Equally effectively squeezes oranges, apples, pumpkins, pears, carrots, beets . Soft apples also clog the filter mesh and give more pulp in the juice, but THEY WORK OUT! 3. HIGH EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY. The auger juicer does not need to be constantly cleaned of pulp. There is also a metal mesh, but it practically does not clog. Processing speed increased THREE TIMES! 4. Easy to disassemble and wash. Now, making a glass of juice is no longer a half-day job. You take an orange, and after 3 minutes you already have a glass of juice. And after another three minutes you have a juicer in its pure original form. Well, pulp. In the photo for comparison, a bottle with settled "juice" after squeezing with a centrifugal system (left) and a screw juicer (right). Obviously, auger wins three times.

Pros
  • - Spin speed; - The quality of the spin; - Ease of use; — Relatively low noise level; - Relatively low cost.
Cons
  • In the first few uses, it was quite difficult to assemble and disassemble the juicer. After a couple of months, the upper part (lid with a neck) became too easy to attach and, in fact, dangles in the seat. Let's see what happens next.
