Attention BMW owners! Look for a cage!
I change my oil, don't trust the oils from a quick change oil company. There were issues with blown oil plugs being over-torqued by Gorilla mechanics. When changing the oil filter, pay attention to the plastic cage under the cap that holds the filter. My 1st oil change someone canceled it before me it causes all sorts of problems with the computer. I noticed a clip came as a replacement and ordered it. No problems with computer codes. Told my mechanic who also noticed customers who had the same problem.
