I did a lot of research before making this purchase. It came down to Valencia Pro vs. Venice Pro, Con. Set of Scanpan. In the end, I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the Greenpan Valencia Pro. Although Scanpan came in third, I ruled it out due to the huge price difference between their kits and Greenpan. I "almost" went with the more durable stainless steel Venice Pro Kit, but decided against it for two reasons. First, I love the glass lids that I get with the Valencia Pro. Second, I have a Greenpan stainless steel pan and although they claim it doesn't tarnish, after a few months that's exactly what happened. glass lid. Perfect. They arrived in perfect condition and even included a nice looking piece of green felt to put between pots and pans to keep them from dangling in the cupboard. I know from some reviews that some have complained about damaged pans. I haven't had this problem. Having used the pans for many months now they are still the best kitchen set I have ever had (I have been cooking for about 25 years). Easy to clean, non-stick is PERFECT. No complaint period. However, I don't use an oil spray which I've read kills the nonstick coating. I only use olive oil and avocado oil. Recommendation 5+. Will definitely update this review after having the pans for 12 months. Enjoy!
