These pans are sticky!

We did a lot of research before purchasing this cookware set. I was so excited to cook with quality pieces. We followed all instructions carefully and seriously. You should not use oil or cooking spray. We cook a lot of eggs and the photo shows what the pan looks like after the eggs are cooked. The pan needs to be cleaned to remove food. I will say they are great for boiling water. They heat up quickly compared to other pans I've used. I would also recommend protecting the handles from heat.

Work for the first two months and then a quick drop in quality

And for a healthy option and I was glad to find it. They were great for the first two months, then they got so difficult to use. Food sticks to them and no matter how much oil is put on it, around three. You should wash them by hand only, using wooden or soft cooking spoons, not a dishwasher. Our sink is now full of pots that soak in leftovers most of the time. I wish I could get them at Costco so I can return them. I'm about to buy Costco brand pots and pans just a few months after paying…

They burn their hands on the handle of the lid

I bought these $$$ pans because I like companies that promote products that are healthier for people. I can buy cheaper products, but I spend more just because of that. However, due to the price of the pans, I was upset that I burned my hand several times lifting the pot lid while cooking on the stove. You can expect this from using the oven. WTF, that should be a warning - pry the lid off with a rag because it gets very very very hot and you'll burn your hand. For this reason alone I will not…

Disappointing at all costs, can be dangerous

Arrived with a factory defect on one of the pans, with a coating falling apart (indicating poor build quality, even worse quality control - see attached photo) and a broken glass lid. I'm surprised they don't use tempered glass for such an expensive set. Literally thousands of super tiny, sand-sized pieces of glass are everywhere, finding their way into the farthest corners of the house for a one-year-old to rummage around! I felt cuts from tiny pieces as I washed. I'm considering just throwing

Search no more! best in kitchen and dining room

I have done extensive research on the least toxic pans. I would put it second for lowest toxicity, and first I'll put Xtrema. BUT Xtrema is ridiculously expensive, breaks easily, is bulkier, doesn't stick, and since Xtrema is all ceramic, you'll need to get silicone grips or use an oven mitt to move pots and pans. The GreenPan is in my opinion the best for everyday use, light, comfortable, easy to clean, light weight etc. The box also comes with spacers so you can keep it safe. You are…

Best set of pots and pans I've had in 25 years

I did a lot of research before making this purchase. It came down to Valencia Pro vs. Venice Pro, Con. Set of Scanpan. In the end, I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the Greenpan Valencia Pro. Although Scanpan came in third, I ruled it out due to the huge price difference between their kits and Greenpan. I "almost" went with the more durable stainless steel Venice Pro Kit, but decided against it for two reasons. First, I love the glass lids that I get with the Valencia Pro. Second, I have a…

A Year Later - Cookware

It has been almost a year since I bought this Green Pan Set. Here are my thoughts after using them extensively: Overall: They're decent. I had a very hard time deciding between two or three rating stars. They work exactly as advertised when you first receive them and potentially up to 6 months after if you use them daily. Maybe more with less frequent use. Unfortunately, as with many pans, the non-stick coating wears out very quickly. If you're like me, you'll struggle with food sticking, from…

Grooming may require extra effort, but it's worth it!

I did a lot of research before purchasing GreenPan cookware. I was looking at other well-known brands when a clerk at a specialty kitchen suggested I check out GreenPan. The 11 piece set has pretty much everything I need. I really had to replace a few staples, including extra virgin olive oil, butter, and nonstick spray. To preserve the ceramic finish, the GreenPan makers recommend using virgin olive oil (I've only had store-bought oil), peanut butter, or ghee, among several other oils. Pure…
