My job is micro soldering of iPhones and other devices. I used to get by with soldering sewing needles to standard multimeter probes. This is a bit of a problem though, as the needles are springy and if you're not very careful you can easily knock off components if probes built this way slip off during testing. After using these probes for a while I decided to buy a set of these as a spare and I have to say I'm very satisfied! They fit easily in the relatively limited space on the iPhone circuit board and are much stronger than my improvised probes. I'll admit I was concerned that they might not be sharp enough (you can't tell from the photos) but they are exactly what I needed them for. The delivery from China took quite a long time, which was not the case. This is a major downside for a new one as I already had something that worked (though not very well).
