Improvise and you will be blessed with a better, stronger and tighter sound.

I fitted this kit to two front door speakers on my 2004 RX330 and the results were amazing! After repairing a 15 year old OEM surround sound foam, I applied a road kill not sure if this simple product would improve the sound. But WOW, the sound has been restored and improved, money saved and I didn't throw it away. These great 15 year old JBL OEM speakers are used by Toyota with something from another era. Separating the three pieces of styrofoam wasn't intuitive, so I first used a blade on the sticky paper to pry each of the three sections apart. Then I flipped it over and just pushed the foam pieces in a clockwise direction until each section came loose. I had to improvise with the styrofoam center ring as the metal door opening was too big to fit. I also found that a large window support tube was attached to the door frame and was blocking 1/3 of the foam speaker mounting area. I just cut it off. I reduced the thickness and glued directly to the support tube - it seems to work. Oh yeah, two extra foam rings I placed under the window switch to reduce noise as I noticed it has plenty of room to resonate and let road noise through. The sound from 15 year old door speakers sounds better than my 2019 Fusion. So much so that I'm about to order a set for two rear doors! Thank you for this product!
