I wish I could say something better about this lock but the thing is I used this to lock my electric scooter and it was stolen the first day I used it. Yes I used it properly and secured it, I did everything right, but when I went out after work it just wasn't there. San Francisco, in the afternoon, on camera. A report was made to the police, but to no avail. The anti-theft program sounded promising, but first you need to register your car's serial number with Kryptonite. Smart but my scooter serial number was not found and I had to contact the company and wait for an answer. And this answer didn't come, so I couldn't register. It all ended here. Installing the mount was easy. The lock itself seemed quite solid and trustworthy. I love that the button has an LED so you can see what you're doing. But on top of that, this lock didn't even last 8 hours and my scooter was stolen. Never again.
