5/8 inch ID and optimum thickness for 16 to 20 sheet metal
stainless steel gauge. I drilled a 22mm hole that is just under 7/8" and these bushings work perfectly. They fit snugly in the hole and the 1/2 inch PEX tubing fits snugly in the grommet.
