My suitcase had a small strip of plastic broken over the lock/unlock buttons so I ordered a new suitcase. I put my chip and battery in a new case and it didn't work. I was going to use the piece that fits between the buttons and chip from my old case but it got stuck thinking it might tear and fall apart if I keep trying so I put everything back in my old case with a rubber band clipped together around it so I don't lose it. Also, the new case was 1/8 inch longer than the old one, so I couldn't use the old Cadillac logo rear case on the new case. So I save the new case on the console. If I'm ever kidnapped, I'll give them the fake key.
