This key fob is a great replacement for the original, it's a little bigger than the one in the car and the buttons are a little stiffer except it's easy to program and still works great, the battery doesn't is included, so insert it before programming. Check your fob as one of mine had a crack in the key slot but it's on the inside so it's fine unless they want to replace it for me, plus this is a great product.

The remote I got when I bought the car was really worn out. The hidden emergency key didn't really stay hidden in the remote, but the buttons on the remote still worked fine. I decided why not try this instead of spending hundreds on a brand new remote. The reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no Cadillac badging on the back. There's room for one, but this unit doesn't come with one and it was impossible to find the exact sticker to put it on.

The case itself is very thin. The PCB case weighs less than the original case. The buttons seem to wear out quickly. The key looked like a genuine Cadillac key, but this aluminum blank would not work when cut into the original key. Aluminum billets are very thin and bend easily. The locksmith measured the key and said it is NOT the same as the original key. In the end I just used the original key in this case and it worked. My suitcase had a small strip of plastic broken over the lock/unlock buttons so I ordered a new suitcase. I put my chip and battery in a new case and it didn't work. Replaced two broken key fobs on my 2008 CTS. The keys were not locked in the key fob and kept falling out. The new keychain cases work great! Received quickly.
