Replaced two broken key fobs on my 2008 CTS. The keys were not locked in the key fob and kept falling out. The new keychain cases work great! Received quickly. Please note that there are no electronics in the replacement key fob. If your electronics work, no problem. If your electronics aren't working, this keychain isn't for you! Just two minor flaws: (1) There is no Cadillac icon on the back key fob. If that doesn't suit you, spend the extra money on an OEM key fob 6 to 10 times the price. (2) The key fob does not have a metal clip that holds the battery in place and completes the circuit. You must reuse the one in your original keychain. Tips: 1. Make sure the replacement key fob in the case is exactly the same as the key fob to be replaced! There are similar key rings that don't fit.2. Be patient when replacing your key fob's electronics with a new key fob body. It can be a little tricky to align everything correctly. I had to try twice. Disassembly and assembly.3. There is a latch next to the key. Don't try to take the keychain apart easily or it will break.
