The battery lasts 3 weeks before being recharged.

UPDATE August 28, 2021: After using the replacement lock for 14 days, I'm having connectivity issues, my battery has dropped to two bars and the icon is amber indicating low battery. Again, that's only 14 days with little to no benefit. Currently not recommended. I'll charge the battery again and see what happens. UPDATE 8/14/2021: I received the replacement unit from support in less than a week. I installed and set up a new smart lock today. I've added 1 star so far for the excellent customer service. Let's see if this block works without problems. If there are no problems I will update the star rating with an additional update. UPDATE 8/5/2021. Today I contacted the support. The battery has been dead in less than a month since the last check and now the smart lock won't connect to WiFi. At first I thought the battery would run out in 5-10 minutes so I charged the battery again. I installed the battery and reconnected to the wifi. The application showed that the battery is fully charged. After 5-10 minutes, the application showed that the smart lock was disabled. I went back to the wifi settings and was able to reconnect. Again, it was offline again after 5-10 minutes. Today I contacted the support. They sent me a new unit for warranty replacement and asked me to return the defective unit. They emailed me a return label. So far the customer service seems to be excellent. I'll update the review once I've received and installed the new device and given it enough time for a decent upgrade. I received this door lock on March 22, 2021. I installed it after a week. I fully charged the supplied battery and installed it in the device. The battery lasted about 3 weeks. I removed the battery and fully charged it again. The battery lasted about 3 weeks again. I also noticed that the device often turns off. The WiFi router is about 15 feet away, so I'm not sure if distance is the issue. A door lock is great when it actually works. I don't know if I received a bad device or a bad battery, but for now I'm not too happy with the product. A. And the smart lock is generally not used much because our family doesn't use the front door as the main entrance and exit. I'll contact CS sometime when I have time and find out what the problem is. If anyone has an idea what could be wrong, please let me know.
