Review on Planet Audio PL1200.2 Car Amplifier - Powerful 1200 Watts, Full Range, Class A/B, 2/8 Ohm Stable, High-Performance MOSFET Power Supply, Bridgeable by Mark Powell

I love this amplifier! Lots of power for your doors! Warning of two things. First, make sure your speakers can handle it! Don't use anything cheap. Second, it tends to overheat with prolonged playback. but with class A/B amplifiers this is always a problem. In order to get a crystal clear sound, it generates a lot of heat. I'm looking for fans to keep this powerhouse cool. I've been working on my system for about 3 weeks, basically I was looking for crystal clear sound with intense bass. (already had bass) I blew 2 sets (branded speakers) with this amp to keep my costs down. As a result, I received a high-quality set of component speakers. When I installed them and connected them to this amp, I have to admit that the clarity of the sound from this amp with a quality set of component speakers brought tears to my eyes. I absolutely loved it!
