Pros: - It Really Works. It is very easy to install. It meets all my card cooling needs. - CHEAP! This saved me from buying a $150+ replacement graphics card! Cons: (I noticed that my "cons" take up more space than "pros", but that's a really good point) - "always on". It doesn't just light up when the card heats up. When the PC is on and not in sleep mode, the fan runs. The pins on the D-type end of the adapter cable were a little wobbly. Instead of simply moving to a D-type PC, a little effort was required. Hardly worth mentioning. I only mention this because I think there could be a very, very small company that could solve this problem. In between: It's not loud, but it's not quiet either. I had an expensive graphics card with a defective fan. When I tried to replace the fan, the pins on the board broke. I used it instead of a card controlled fan. That works great. Even on the lowest settings, it cools the card perfectly when I'm playing games that use high-resolution 3D graphics. It's not loud, but it's not quiet either. The only time noise bothered me was when listening to music that uses extreme dynamic range, such as B. Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony. When I listen to rock, the low hum doesn't bother me at all.
