Be careful as the blade is very sharp and you could cut yourself if you are not careful. Luckily it only ripped off a piece of my nail but it hit a few layers of skin. The tool itself is great for camping, camping and just in case. The hammer part really works like a hammer and I was able to use it at home for testing. I used 4 different sized nails to see if it could at least drive nails into wood and it really does. The included multi-tools are anything but cheap. Very thick metal and heavy. The ax part on this whole tool is the main reason I bought it. I could chop small pieces of wood to start the fire. I was also able to break off some bark from a tree trunk to use as kindling. As mentioned, the blade is very sharp and I was able to slice through the bark to start a fire while hiking. It is easy to clean and can be used as a kitchen knife when needed. All in all, this tool has so many uses and it definitely came in handy on my camping trip. The case for it allows me to carry it with me and not worry about it cutting through my pocket or wherever I keep it.
