Instructions say to fully charge and discharge 3-4 times to maximize battery capacity. I thought it was weird but made it twice before using it the first time. Works well, although not nearly as powerful as a paid car wash vacuum. However, it is much more convenient. I had a spare filter in my kit. Filters should be washed with water and reused. Very happy with this vacuum cleaner.
