This is a great little timer. The magnets are strong enough for anything in the kitchen and they look great on the front of our OTR microwave. The timer works like a timer. nothing special. The buttons are a bit stiff. On some digital timers, if you press and hold the minute button during the countdown, the time will increase by one minute. It's not like this. Could be good or bad depending on what you want. It has no clock function, just a timer. It's clearly visible from across the room, but there's no backlight or brightness control. It has an adjustable tone, it's LOUD when you adjust the volume, and even if you turn it off, it still flashes when the time is up.
