Easy to fit on 2008 Subaru Impreza

Fits on 2008 Subaru Impreza (rear suspension only). Day one of my new car. Dealers have no warranty given as it was within tolerance. But at times the difference between the left and right rear suspension was almost 1.5" at times. Installation was easy for me as I just stuck it in the spool. ), seal lubricated, seal inserted between the coils, lowered car and that was it. Luckily the spacer exposed the strut boot so the spacer didn't get in the way. I restored about 3/4 to 1" of ride height. The wear on the inside of the tire is a little more than on the right rear wheel. These coil spring spacers were the perfect fix for sagging springs.Depending on the diameter of your reel (front or rear) s ie be installed below, above or in the roll. If your spool diameter is slightly smaller/larger then you have no choice but to install a spacer in the spool. The coil spacer was a larger diameter than my coils, but that only made installation easier because nothing had to be removed to install the intermediate coil. Here are the dimensions. Outer Diameter: 6" Inner Diameter: 3 7/8" The bottom of the spacer has a groove to accommodate the coils. Overall height is somewhat irrelevant, but "as is" the slide-to-slide spacer will be 1 1/8 inches high (i.e., to fit inside the spool); and a height of 1 3/8" from the gutter to the base (i.e. for installing at the base or at the top of the heat exchanger). These heights are somewhat irrelevant as you expect a little compression when the car/ Truck is Before When deciding on this product you need to consider a few things: - Coil diameter: does it even fit in the base or should it be built into the springs - Coil compression: when the car is lowered you have less than 2.5 cm of space between each spring?More than 1" will not increase the height but will add a little more "rigidity" to the suspension Choose whether to mount it on the base or the spacer.software PLEASE NOTE THE CONDITION OF YOUR RACKS Don't confuse bad coils with bad posts Make sure you don't have any problems with the posts and try to fix it with these washers These washers hot fix spring/coil sag, NOT defective struts!

Pros
  • 1.5" thick, approx 1" rise, 5" groove diameter
Cons
  • Not the best
