Review on πŸ‘– Columbia Silver Ridge Convertible X Large Boys' Clothing and Pants: Versatile Outdoor Apparels for Active Boys by Jose Strong

Too thin/poor quality

First of all, we generally like the quality of Columbia outerwear. We bought these pants for our two children to use as boy scout pants. We usually buy LL Bean zip-up pants for this purpose, but their pants have been in stock for a few months, so we decided to give them a try. Very disappointing. Pants are very thin/light. This in itself would be fine as kids could always wear pants underneath in colder weather, but pants will never stand up to active outdoor use by active kids. After one wash and no wear (they're a bit loose on kids) the seams will stretch allowing light to see through the seams. A camping trip with hiking, chopping wood, etc., And I know these pants end up in the trash. However, for the price we could last a while, but the belt loops are so small that Boy Scout belts won't fit through, so they can't be used as uniform trousers as we intended. Unfortunately, my children tried them on in a hurry, saying they fit, and we only noticed the remaining "problems" with the pants after the first wash. So I think we'll stick with them for now, although I'll consider returning them. The customer service part of it will be updated. They said they fit and we didn't notice the other "problems" with the pants until after they had already been washed for the first wear.
