I have used my Schwinn Axum for several months and have always been very disappointed with the mechanical brakes that came with it. I've been looking at these brakes for a long time and decided it's time for a change! Couldn't be happier with the upgrade for the price. Installation was VERY easy. These brakes are much easier to get right than mechanical brakes. Just install them a little loose and then pull the lever to align them, tighten the 2 screws, release the lever and you're done! I ordered 800/1650 and my bike has a 19" frame, the rear line is just always that bit too long (don't make it less imho) where I feel the 1500mm rear end is too short would be take some string and follow the trail of the rear brake to get the correct measurements so you know what you need if you plan to do this install yourself and I don't have tools to shorten the hydraulic line. Now I can finally stop the bike on the track and not listen to the super loud squeak. So happy!
