I bought these to replace the old "egg timer" in our kitchen which was never very accurate. This timer was pretty cheap and looked ok so I bought it. The boy was pleasantly surprised! This thing has a lot of useful features - dual timer, swipe up and down (button!), loop/repeat timer, mute and on, etc. Despite that, I found it pretty easy to use. two external buttons together to turn off the display and save battery life. (It's in a little manual, but who actually reads that?) Seriously, I had low expectations and just wanted a basic timer based on the price. It may sound like an exaggeration, but I take it seriously: it changed my anxiety about cooking. Having two timers and being able to count has really changed my life in the kitchen.
