PLEASE DO NOT PLACE THIS IN YOUR CHILD'S CED UNTIL CHILD IS UNATTENDED. The box clearly states that it is for supervised use only. Leaving anything, including this pillow, with a sleeping baby puts you at risk of SIDS. Also, do not use it in your car seat. It is not safe to add padding to the car seat. It has not been crash tested and is not approved for it. My baby was born premature and they have extra soft skulls. I noticed that his head became quite flat and trying to turn his head in different directions didn't work. I use it when he kicks his back on his playmat, changing table or in his Pack n' Play and I keep a close eye on him. I also use it when he is in the stroller. Basically, I try to use him whenever he's on his back and I'm around to watch. I still turn my head to the side when I sleep and spend a lot of time upright carrying it. I found that even with this rather light use I noticed a definite improvement since use.
