It works but won't hold 12 sheets
I don't know why all shredders say they take a certain number of sheets when they can barely do it. half that number. This has worked well with every shredder we've owned. Our last royal swallowed 4 leaves. We followed the directions and used a drop of olive oil to lubricate the mechanism. We even took this thing apart and ripped a piece out of each super sharp blade, but the motor stopped working, we had to buy a new one. Each model is slightly different, but they all seem to do the same thing. I usually feed 2 leaves at a time
