Review on Kitchen Sprayer Replacement Function Connector by Scott Reid

I purchased this to replace the original sprayer for my Kohler 596-CP kitchen faucet which was slow and difficult to switch from direct stream to light stream. I've tried soaking it in white vinegar with little improvement and disassembly didn't seem like an option. The original hose had a piece of plastic that protruded into the opening of the replacement atomizer (this is not an original manufacturer replacement head), but I found that removing the white plastic diffuser that came with the atomizer head allows it to be screwed into place. I love that this one had a better print than the original; the shower function goes back to the direct jet function as soon as the water is automatically turned off (my wife doesn't like it when I leave it on); and the auqua-blade function, which replaces the original spray head function to temporarily stop the flow, washes away food particles very effectively. Please refer to the warning chart for the applicable shower head thread. I chose this for a G 1/2 thread instead of a 1/2" NPT thread and it worked. Someone mentioned that they had problems with leaks, maybe because they didn't pay attention to the thread configuration, which could be partially solved with teflon tape when attempting to install this spray head on a hose that requires 1/2" NPT.
